WEBSITE INFORMATION
Cookies and storage
What is stored in your browser, for how long, and how you can manage it.
What this version uses
The home page includes no analytics or cookies. When you explicitly choose a language, it saves that preference in local browser storage. Resources are served from this website. External links load their owners’ websites when clicked; they are not embedded services. Hosting receives technical connection data to deliver and protect the website, as explained in Privacy.
The website and game use localStorage, browser storage distinct from cookies sent with each request. Rules about storage and access to a device also apply to these technologies. The controller is Ofymat Informática S.L. and the storage origin is https://yecla.com.
Keys stored in your browser
| Key | Purpose and content | Actual duration |
|---|---|---|
yecla-familiar-v1 | Saved game: progress, missions and stages, postcards, stamps and the state needed to continue. Used to save the requested experience locally. | No automatic expiry. Remains until replaced by another save, site data is cleared or the browser removes it. “New game” replaces saved progress; it does not necessarily remove the key. |
yecla.options.v1 | Graphics quality and volume, including initial values. They are written automatically after the first load even if you have not changed a setting, and updated with your choices. They are not reused for advertising or tracking. | No automatic expiry. Remains until replaced or site data is cleared. |
yecla.locale.v1 | Remembers the language explicitly chosen on the home page or in the game menu. Contains only a supported language code, no visit history. Shared by the website and game at this origin; it does not create a separate saved game. | No automatic expiry. Changes when you choose another language, clear site data or the browser removes it. |
The save and settings support the game; settings storage includes default values and does not always result from a player action. The language preference is written only after an explicit choice. Preference from earlier versions: if you played before, the key yecla.statistics.v1 may remain. This edition may read it at startup, but does not write it or allow statistics to be enabled, even if it contains “on”. It stores no events or player identifier and has no automatic expiry. You can remove it with the site data.
This edition’s code includes no advertising cookies or tracking across websites. This list covers the website’s and game’s browser storage; technical hosting logs are described in Privacy.
This edition collects no statistics
No game events are sent to the counter and there is no option to enable sending. An old statistics preference does not change this. You can play and complete every mission without sharing statistics.
How to change or clear data
“New game” replaces saved progress with a new game and does not necessarily remove the key or clear quality and volume. To remove active keys and any old statistics preference, open the browser’s privacy settings, find yecla.com and delete its site data. This also removes your saved game and remembered language, and may affect other content at the same domain. There is no remote recovery of that save. You can also block browser storage; the game may then be unable to retain progress and settings.
Why there is no generic acceptance notice
Strictly technical storage and preferences requested by the player may be exempt from prior consent if used only for that function. This edition does not offer or enable game statistics. Browsing is not consent. Automatically writing default values must be assessed against the technical function actually needed; the name “preferences” does not by itself make storage exempt.
